Technical overview

Architecture and service catalogue

TQSphere is a modular ecosystem: each business area lives in its own component, and all of them are reached through a single entry point. That separation is what makes it possible to enable only the modules your project needs, to grow in stages, and to replace or extend one piece without stopping the rest of the platform.

Design principles

Separation by business area

Each component owns its own information and its own rules. A change to scheduling cannot break invoicing, and every area can evolve at its own pace.

A single entry point

Every request — from the website, the mobile app or third-party systems — comes through one controlled door that validates it before letting it through. Internal components are never exposed to the internet.

Automatic background processes

Tasks that should not keep the user waiting — emails, notifications, invoicing retries, audit logging and reconciliations — run separately. The screen responds immediately even when the process takes longer.

Money handled with clear rules

Escrow payments, configurable commissions, settlements to providers and ambassadors: all computed by the platform and recorded for review.

Built-in tax compliance

Issuance, signing and transmission of electronic tax documents following the official formats of the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador, with contingency handling.

How the platform is organised

The layers of the ecosystem: the channels your customers use, the entry point, the business modules, the background processes, information storage and external services.

Component catalogue

The ecosystem is made up of 16 components: 13 business modules and 3 automatic background processes. Each project enables only the ones it needs.

ComponentTypeResponsibility
sphereapigatewayEntry pointThe single front door. Routes each request to the right module, validates the session and controls request volume.

sphereservicesModuleMaster service catalogue, categories, pricing and the provider verification flow.
sphereappointmentsModuleThe full appointment lifecycle: bookings, confirmations, rescheduling, cancellations and ratings.
spherelocationModuleProximity search, radius distance calculation and recognition of local address formats.
spherepaymentsModuleFinancial engine: escrow payments, provider settlements and the affiliate programme.

Functional detail by area

What each area of the ecosystem solves and what its main capabilities are.

Identity, security and access control

sphereauth
  • Registration with encrypted passwords, never stored in readable text.
  • Extended sessions and temporary guest access to browse the catalogue without signing up.
  • Two-step verification with a 6-digit code by email, with attempt control and expiry.
  • Cumulative roles: customer, provider, ambassador and administrator coexist in a single account.
  • Conversion from customer to provider without forcing a sign-out and sign-in.
  • Platform maintenance mode toggled from the administration panel.

Commercial and service catalogue

sphereservices
  • Categories and subcategories: home, mechanics, electrical, plumbing, beauty and others.
  • Services with name, description, base or hourly price, estimated duration and mode: on site, at home or in the workshop.
  • Provider verification with states: under review, approved, rejected and suspended.
  • Strict filtering in the public catalogue: only approved, active providers are visible to customers.

Operations and appointment lifecycle

sphereappointments
  • Full cycle: created, confirmed, in progress and completed, with cancellation possible at any point.
  • Real-time booking validated against the provider’s actual availability.
  • Rescheduling with immediate notification to both parties.
  • Justified cancellation, recording the reason and who cancelled.
  • Reviews and 1-to-5-star ratings on completed appointments, with reputation scoring.

Proximity and location search

spherelocation
  • Exact distance calculation on the map, not approximations.
  • Provider search within a configurable radius in kilometres.
  • Recognition of addresses written the way they are used locally: neighbourhoods, municipalities and departments.
  • Cross-checked against the catalogue so only authorised providers are returned.

Finance, payments and gateways

spherepaymentsspherepay
  • Secure payment links for credit and debit cards.
  • Payment confirmations verified cryptographically, so no payment notice can be forged.
  • Escrow: funds are held at booking and released to the provider once the appointment is completed.
  • Dynamic commissions: a configurable percentage with a minimum floor, with no fixed values in the system.
  • A test environment to validate the integration without real charges.
  • Financial summary per provider: available balance, pending payments, withdrawal history and commissions.

Affiliates and brand ambassadors

spherepayments
  • Public application flow for ambassadors and influencers.
  • Administrative approval with contracts of configurable duration.
  • A unique, immutable identifier per affiliate, with their own promotional codes.
  • Permanent attribution: whoever signs up through a link stays bound to that ambassador for good.
  • A ledger of commissions accrued from every completed appointment of their referrals.
  • Ambassador social profiles recorded for campaign tracking.

Tax and electronic invoicing

spheredtespherebilling
  • Nine tax document types, following the official formats of the Ministry of Finance.
  • Digital signature through the official service before transmission.
  • Transmission to the tax authority, safeguarding the official acknowledgement and generation code.
  • PDF rendering with legal tax layout and official QR codes.
  • Automatic contingency: if the tax authority or the connection fails, documents are stored and resent on their own once service is restored.
  • Registry of branches and points of issue with the official codes assigned by the tax authority.

Fleet and vehicles

spherevehicles
  • Catalogue of manufacturers, makes, models and years.
  • Owned vehicles linked to each customer’s account.
  • Technical data lookup by chassis number.
  • Monitoring and alerts for manufacturer safety recalls.

Files and verification documents

sphereattachments
  • Protected file upload, with control over which file types are allowed.
  • Automatic thumbnail generation to reduce mobile data consumption.
  • Secure safekeeping of identity documents and certifications used to validate providers.

General configuration and catalogues

sphereconf
  • Parameters changeable on the fly, without stopping the platform.
  • Legal terms, privacy policies and terms of service with version control.
  • Official catalogues: economic activities, departments, municipalities and establishment types.

External integrations

sphereintegrations
  • A two-way connector with ERP systems — Odoo in particular — for inventory, orders and customers.
  • Per-company access credentials and automatic notices to receive updates from third-party platforms.

Background processes

spheremsgsphereeventspheresync
  • Communications: emails using your own branded templates, phone notifications and text messages for critical validations.
  • Audit: an unalterable record of what happened, for traceability and dispute resolution.
  • Reconciliation: recurring billing runs, expiry of unpaid bookings and cleanup of stale sessions.

Supported tax documents

A complete implementation for issuing, signing and transmitting tax documents, following the official formats of the Ministry of Finance of El Salvador.

Operation and continuity

Beyond the visible features, the ecosystem includes everything needed to operate reliably and grow without disruption.

Reliable storage

Information on users, appointments, catalogue, payments and tax documents is stored in a structured, backed-up way.

Immediate response

Frequently used information is kept ready to answer instantly, even under heavy demand.

Decoupled processes

Heavy tasks run in the background, so the application never keeps the user waiting.

Continuous monitoring

Dashboards showing the platform’s status, response times and any anomaly at all times.

Centralised logging

Everything that happens is recorded in one place, which speeds up diagnosis of any incident.

Reproducible deployment

The platform installs identically in testing and in production, which removes surprises at go-live.

Growth in parts

If one module takes on more load, only that module is reinforced — without scaling, or paying for, the whole platform.

Test environment

A separate environment to validate integrations and train your team without touching real data.

This page presents the functional scope of the ecosystem. Implementation and infrastructure details are shared with the client’s team during the project, under a confidentiality agreement.
